Paula from The Body Shop is the ultimate local. She has lived in this community all her life and worked in 5 different stores across the Centre. She also met her husband while working in one of our stores, taking ‘Love My Local’ to the next level. They now happily reside with their 3 babies (one dog and 2 cats).

It’s fair to say she has seen plenty of changes but loves the things that have remained the same in the area, like our clean beaches, friendly, laid-back way of living, and the laughter and chatter of our Colonnades community shopping and catching up.

Having just finished a stint Managing another Body Shop store we are excited to have her back in Centre. Heading into The Body Shop you’ll often be greeted with Paula’s bright smile and amazing product knowledge. Their gorgeous range of creamy Body Butters are synonymous with The Body Shop and the Hemp range is a must for hard working hands, but did you know that they sell make-up? The team offers make-up colour matching to help you find the perfect tone, as well as skincare consults to work with your specific skincare concerns.

They also offer refills! They have 4 shower gel scents, lipsticks and face powder that come in refillable packaging.

The Body Shop keeps community at the forefront, as a change making beauty brand, invested in the Community Fair Trade Program. Ingredients like the Shea Butter are sourced from a group of women in Ghana who make the Shea by hand. In return The Body Shop pay them a fair wage, ensure safe working conditions, and pay a premium they can invest into their own community. Products are 100% cruelty free too!

When Paula is taking a break from the store you might find her checking out the knickknacks in Typo, or Canopy Home Fashion, or dinner options at Barossa Fine Foods.

We love having retailers like Paula in Centre. A big heart and huge contributor to making our Colonnades community great.
