Colonnades World's Greatest Shave

Join us on the 14th March from 1pm for our World's Greatest Shave event in front of Big W.

Feeling brave enough to shave or colour your hair and want to fundraise? We already have some volunteers registered and ready to shave, but we'd love more!

You can also help beat blood cancer and support those who are affected by Leukaemia by donating to someone who has registered.

And, if you don't want to register but do want to support the cause you can join the fun on the day and get yourself a $20 haircut, $10 kids cut or $10 colour*, with proceeds going to the Leukaemia Foundation. Four of our Colonnades barbers/hairdressers are helping out on the day. Plus the very talented Vanessa from Voodoo Body Art will be doing face painting and we'll be joined by The Rainbow Connection Harmony Choir. It will be a great atmosphere so come along and support a wonderful cause.

Thanks to M8 Cutz, Hairhouse Warehouse, Just Cuts and A Cut Above jumping aboard this great cause.

*colour is a temporary spray that washes out with shampoo. Smocks will be provided on the day to protect clothing.

Meet Kirsty

Kirsty has volunteered to shave her head on the 14th March at Colonnades.

Through friends and family Kirsty has been impacted by Cancer many times so she has chosen the Leukaemia Foundation as her focus to fund-raise and help them to beat blood cancer.

You can help her raise money by visiting the World's Greatest Shave website HERE;

Or come along to the Centre at 1pm on the 14th in front of Big W and cheer on Kirsty's bravery.

Meet Abi

Brave Abi was thinking about raising money by partially shaving her hair but said if she raised over $1,000 she would do her whole head.

Guess what! Abi is shaving ALL her hair. She has raised an amazing amount of money already and will be joining us on the 14th March 2019 to shave her hair.

Abi sadly lost her Oma (grandmother) to breast cancer when she was just 2 years old. In Abi's own words "if I can help find a cure for blood cancer then they will be able to find cures for other cancers too"

You can help her raise money by visiting the World's Greatest Shave website HERE; and support her by cheering her on while she shaves on the 14th March.
